The International Festival March Music Days ranks among the oldest and most established festival platforms in Bulgaria, with a modern programming strategy and high public rating. Founded in 1961 and organized by the Ruse Municipality, the event annually transforms the city of Ruse, the Danube Capital of Bulgaria, into a source of musical excitement, attracting art lovers from all over the world.

Big names like – D. Shostakovich, S. Richter, K. Mazur, G. Rozhdestvensky, V. Neumann, J. Temirkanov, S. Sondetskis, S. Costa, M. Schockhausen, Sir N. Mariner, J. Bashmet, G. Kremer, M. Mayski, K. Penderecki, D. Sitkovetsky, P. Galois, Jordi Saval, Sharon Kam; orchestras in the class of the Bucharest Philharmonic, Bucharest Radio Orchestra, Lithuanian Philharmonic, Bruckner Orchestra – Linz, Paris Chamber Orchestra, PKF Prague Philharmonic, Arnold Schoenberg Choir, Symphonie Varsovia, Kremerata Baltica, and the ensembles Hilliard, The King’s Singers, I Musici di Roma, Israel Contemporary String Quartet, and many others have left a mark on our hearts with their gift and talent for music.
